Dr Sam Soo | Medical Director
Dr Soo trained at and has been a partner at Princess Street Group Practice since 1996. He has been a GP trainer since 2003 and has a special interest in the use of IT in general practice and minor surgery. He has been the chair and clinical lead of the local Practice Based Commissioning Consortium since 2007 and a member of Southwark PCTs PbC steering group. Sam has taken the lead in the development of Evolution Health. As Medical Director his priority is to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care in all our sites and to ensure that there are developmental and training opportunities for clinical staff.
Ms Catherine Arden | Operations Director
Catherine has been the Practice Manger at Princess Street Group Practice since 2001, becoming a partner at the practice in 2007. She has particular expertise in: organisational development, skills mix and workforce development and strategic review of services. Prior to working in primary care Catherine worked as Director of Professional Standards at the Royal College of Anaesthetists where she had led on the development and delivery of clinical guidelines, clinical audit and patient information. As Director of Evolution Health she has been part of the implementation team and is particularly interested in ensuring that management systems are in place to ensure the delivery of quality. As previous chair of the local Practice Managers Forum she also has an interest in supporting the role of Practice Managers and working collaboratively on service improvement with members of the local health economy.
Dr. Ravi Gupta | Head of Integrated Governance
Dr. Ravi Gupta joined Dulwich Medical Centre in 1992 as a partner with his father Dr. RP Gupta and is currently a Senior Partner at DMC Healthcare. He has lived in Dulwich for the past 40 years and qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1990. Ravi has a special interest in providing a high quality patient service to all our patients. His other interests include cardiology, child health and also teaching medical students. As a Director of Evolution Health he takes an overall interest in the clinical quality of our services, working closely with Dr Sam Soo , with who he trained as a medical student. He heads up integrated governance ensuring there are clear lines for clinical governance accountability and central structures to review governance issues over all our sites.
Mr. Anil Gupta | Financial Director
Anil is one of the two partners at Dulwich Healthcare and responsible for business operations and business strategy. He has 18 years of Primary Care experience and has been involved in advising other GP practices, has brought DMC Healthcare from a small single handed GP organisation to one ready to take on new challenges. As a Director of the joint venture Evolution Health he takes particular interest in the strategic development of Evolution and acts as the Financial Director. His considerable experience of financial management has been gained during his primary care experience and he has also worked in International Internal Audit for a large Pharma Company advising on compliance of company Policies and Procedures. Anil has a degree in Accountancy (ACA) from BDO Binder Hamlyn, and studied at Dulwich College.
Mr. Ciaran O'Carroll | Director of Operations and Business Development
Ciaran has been working in the Health Service since 1991, most recently, as the Associate Director Of Finance at Southwark Primary Care Trust. He brings a great deal of experience of developing and delivering services within sound financial boundaries and is part of the implementation team for Greenwich with a particular interest on contracts, finance, premises and service development.
Mr Steven Hunt | Project Manager
Steven has worked at Princess Street Group Practice since 2004 as the Quality and Service Development Manager. At the practice he was the lead for quality improvements and was instrumental in the delivery of the RCGPs Quality Practice Award. He has a particular interest in project management and ensuring that non-clinical administrative and management tasks are delivered by well structured administrative teams. He has an expertise in setting up recall systems to ensure that a systematic approach is taken regarding the review of patients with long term conditions. He is also the lead for patient involvement and has been effective in organising events and groups to ensure patient engagement with the delivery of the practice. At Evolution Health Steven has acted as Project Manager for Greenwich schemes.
