Evolution Health (EH) is an exciting partnership formed by DMC Healthcare and Princess Street Group Practice; two Southwark based practices providing care to over 45,000 patients. Evolution brings together the complementary experience, skills and knowledge of these two providers.
Princess Street Group Practice (PSGP) has its origins in the birth of the NHS and has provided the local community with excellent clinical care for more than 50 years. PSGP is a high quality practice achieving excellent standards, recognised through the achievement of the RGGP’s Quality Practice Award (QPA). Its partners and staff are actively involved in the local health economy and have taken on a variety of roles. It is actively involved in teaching and training of all staff with 5 qualified trainers/educational supervisors and has trained over 100 GP Registrars. PSGP has a record of providing innovative care to groups with particular health needs such as students (in a strong partnership with London South Bank University) and refugees. At the same time PSGP has been active in reviewing access arrangements for its patients and the skills mix to deliver high quality care.
DMC Healthcare (DMC) is an innovative and rapidly growing GP-led healthcare group. DMC has grown from a GP surgery to a multi-site organisation, providing quality healthcare services at 13 sites across London and surrounding boroughs. This has been undertaken with contracts for PMS, GMS, APMS, premises development and management support for failing practices. DMC has recently opened three GP-led Health Centres in Medway, Kent and Newham including the key DMC has a strong record in delivering to contractual requirements and setting up business systems to support the delivery of high quality primary care. DMC takes an innovative approach to business and services development and has initiated new ways of working in all its contracts.
