Patient input is crucial to the development of Evolution Health’s services, and we welcome patients from all ages and backgrounds to join our Patient Participation Groups (PPGs). These groups meet three times per year to discuss the quality of our services, potential ways to improve the practice and methods to further local health education. The opinions, concerns and ideas that arise from these discussions are highly valued and have made significant impacts in the past, including:
• an increase in the number of phone lines to reduce morning telephone waits
• the initiation of an online booking service
• the creation of an Afro-Caribbean Diabetic Support Group
• the location of a midwife group to improve the availability of maternity care
• the formation of a weekly baby clinic
